Bongani Dyani Attorneys was established in October 2013 under the leadership Bongani Hamilton Dyani, who holds B.Juris, LLB from University of Fort Hare. The firm commenced its operations in Port Elizabeth but a strategic decision was made to move the practice to Cape Town in December 2016.

The Director has extensive experience in various disciplines of law having started worked as a Regional Court Prosecutor, an Assistant trial attorney for the United Nations Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda and a Licencing Officer at South African Breweries, Newlands, Cape Town. It is at South African Breweries that Mr Dyani developed superior skills in human resources, financial and compliance management skills.

Before practising on his own account Mr Dyani occupied a position of a Professional Assistant in a medium size law firm, in Queenstown where he headed Persona Injury and Family law departments. It is at this firm that he gained valuable experience in tackling different kinds of legal problems and honed his skills in legal practice management. 

Since its inception this firm has  grown  from  strength  to  strength  and currently has offices in Cape Town and Johannesburg.
